About
Dr. Tazin Daniels is an educational developer, consultant, and coach who helps individuals and institutions pursue equity-focused innovation in teaching and learning. She is an Associate Director at the University of Michigan’s Center for Research on Learning and Teaching and founder of The Pedagologist LLC. Her work focuses on inclusive teaching, instructional technology, and helping educators navigate the opportunities and challenges of generative AI with intention.
Dr. Daniels has served as a faculty mentor for the AAC&U Institute on GenAI, Pedagogy and the Curriculum and works with educators and institutions across the country on AI and pedagogy. She was named one of EdTech Magazine’s Top Higher Ed IT Influencers to Follow and has contributed forewords to two books on generative AI and teaching. Across her work, she encourages educators to move beyond one-size-fits-all approaches to AI and make thoughtful, values-driven choices that support their students, their teaching, and their institutional contexts.
