To What (Writing) Problem is AI the Solution?
Why do we ask students to write, and does writing still matter? This workshop will ask participants to consider what we’re trying to do when we teach writing, what problems AI might solve in the writing classroom, and what problems it might create. We’ll talk about how AI could be used to support the writing process and how it’s actually being used by many students, and then we’ll set our own goals for teaching writing in the age of AI.
